The cultural diversity, quality and recognition, industry-relevant courses, holistic learning experience, better employability, adequate facilities, and culture of lifelong learning are the main reasons to opt Bangladesh for study. The students are encouraged to participate in practical training or industrial attachments even where this component is not compulsory for their programme. The universities believe that industrial attachments serve at least dual purposes: giving the students an opportunity to practise what they have learnt in class and secondly, to give them a feel of the real-world working environment.
Colleges have established various departments and units, including International Development Unit ( one-stop service centre for international students ) for assisting the students.
Someone wishing to have a rich, diverse experience in culture that is different and challenging would benefit from attending school in Bangladesh. The focus in the university settings is on medical careers due to the increasing need for highly skilled medical personnel in their own country. They hope to train up people in the medical fields who can then serve the country in this area. The need is so great that chances are you could find employment within the country easily after obtaining the degree program if you work hard. There are several medical colleges in the Bangladesh area now, which all operate under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health. Until the early 1990s, all of the medical colleges were established and kept by the government. Since that time, several private medical college have sprung up, to meet the growing need. Many medical colleges work together with the University of Dhaka and others in order to provide the best education possible to future doctors and other medical personnel in Bangladesh. There are a host of diseases people in Bangladesh are prone to, so study in the field of medicine is strongly encouraged. Anyone interested in studying the field of medicine, who wishes to have a unique and challenging experience, or work in the trenches in medical science, would benefit from studying there. Students who have an inner desire to help in one of the most impoverished areas in the world would derive a deep sense of satisfaction from studying in Bangladesh. Once the degree requirements are completed, you could then decide if you want to stay in Bangladesh and fill the need in the immediate area, or return to your home country and use your skills there.
